Ayesha Curry has a Food Network show, a best-selling cookbook, and a Covergirl contract. After theas a new face for the brand back in September, Curry’s first commercial for Covergirl was finally unveiled today.
In the video, which Curry shared on Instagram, she’s seen getting ready backstage for her show and applying Covergirl’s new Peacock Flare Mascara. “No matter the arena, I always own the spotlight,” Curry says in a voiceover.

The news that Curry would join the Covergirl family came back in September, when the model shared the announcement on Instagram. Curry was also featured in a video alongside Katy Perry, Issa Rae, Maye Musk, and other Covergirl ambassadors, in order to promote the brand’s new “I Am What I Make Up” tagline.
“As a mommy of two little girls I am proud to share this new, bold and powerful movement with them and you,” Curry wrote in the post for the video. “I’m a wife, mom, chef and now… I am a COVERGIRL!”
Curry joins the ranks of Queen Latifah, Janelle Monae, and Shelina Moreda, who are all existing faces of the brand.
